Junior League of Saint Paul’s Blue Jeans & Bling!

Aiming completely decked out inwards a dress, tightly fitting nylons, and uncomfortable heels can be somewhat nightmarish since those attendance coiffes expert and blowouts. Especially in the winter when sweatpants often become the outfit du jour. But Blue Jeans & Bling is another. On this chill Friday night, many than 185 ladies and gents made the University Club on Summit Hill political party exchange. The Club’s Summit Room, or main dining room, delivered clear snacks, wine and beer, and a cracking DJ who provided a fun atmosphere for some mingling. The Terrace off of the dining room held a room full of live auction items and followed jam-pawncked! It followed corking to see so many people checking the items out, including gift cards, designer goodies, and prize baskets.

As I made my way out onto the dancefloor, Islamic Republic of Iran into Dianna Peterson, JLSP president. She told me how very much appendages await forrader to this event every year and the huge impact it has on the Junior League of Saint Paul’s ability to create programs and help the community. “This party lives always therefore distinguished,” she said.

 Then the DJ kicked it into high gear and JLSP members and their guests hit the dance floor to break it down to everything from Ke$ha’s “Tick Tock” to the iconic “Shout” by The Isley Brothers.

The dancing ended just in time (I was begetting a minute jaded . . .) for the live auction. The hot ticket of the nighttime equalled a cruise on Lake Minnetonka, which sold for $750! Completely inward all, the night to the full of bling, baubles, and besties raised $25,000 for the Junior League of Saint Paul’s mission.
